French press vs pour over - no contest for me
I used french press for 3 years straight. Switched to pour over last month. The difference is insane - cleaner taste, no sludge at the bottom of my cup. Anyone else find one method just clicks better than the other?

and yeah @briancampbell nailed it about the sludge, that gritty last sip always grossed me out too. i actually learned about pour over from a barista at this random coffee shop who spent like 20 minutes explaining water temperature to me. have you noticed a difference in how fast you go through filters between the two methods?
