Switched from a blade grinder to a burr grinder 2 weeks ago

My morning pour over went from bitter and muddy to actually tasting like the notes on the bag. Has anyone else here made that switch and noticed the same?

You say your coffee now "actually tastes like the notes on the bag" and I think that's exactly the problem with burr grinders. They extract too evenly and make the coffee taste exactly like the roaster says it should, which is perfect if you want to pay $20 for a bag of beans that tastes like someone described blueberry pie. I actually prefer the imperfections from a blade grinder because you get a mix of over and under extracted particles, and that gives you a more complex, honest cup. Half the time those tasting notes are marketing anyway. I've been using the same $15 blade grinder for five years and my morning coffee reminds me of actual coffee, not some fancy flavor description.

Are you for real or just trolling cause your coffee sounds like a hot mess.
