Vent: I got a 7 day ban for a meme about a city council meeting

Last week, I posted a simple meme on a big platform, just a picture of our city council looking confused with a funny caption about a new parking rule. It got taken down in under an hour for 'misinformation'. Three years ago, I would have said, 'Good, they're keeping things clean.' But seeing a harmless joke about a local issue get scrubbed made me flip. Now I get why people worry about what gets to stay online. Has anyone else had a local news meme get flagged like that?

A client in Seattle had a weird reaction to a new serum last Tuesday

She came in for a normal facial and mentioned she started using a vitamin C serum from a new brand. About 10 minutes into the steam, her cheeks got really red and felt hot. I stopped everything, rinsed her face with cool water, and applied a simple aloe gel I keep on hand. It calmed down after 20 minutes, but it was a good reminder to always ask about new products at the very start of an appointment. What's your go-to protocol when a client has a sudden reaction like that?

Oh man, @martin.vera is totally right about the PIN. I had that happen once where my kid almost ordered a crazy amount of toys just by talking to the speaker. I freaked out and dug into the settings. Turns out my "voice purchasing" was somehow on, but the PIN confirm was off. I turned that PIN back on right away. Now it asks for that code every single time, which is a huge relief. Saved my wallet for sure.
