Drove 2 hours to a small con in Modesto and the dollar bin guy changed my whole collecting habit
Went to a tiny one day con in Modesto a couple weeks back because a buddy said the dollar bins were nuts. I pulled 14 issues for $20, mostly late 80s Detective Comics and some X-Factor stuff I had as a kid. The guy running the booth sat there for like 20 minutes telling me which runs people sleep on and which ones are just filler. I went in wanting keys and walked out wanting to actually read comics again. Anyone else have a random small show totally reset how they collect?

Wish more sellers would just talk runs instead of pushing keys.
