Spent $300 on a 'complete' Silver Surfer run that was missing half the issues
I bought it online from a seller with good feedback, but they counted reprints and random guest appearances as part of the set. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of filler and none of the key books I actually wanted. Has anyone else been burned by a seller playing fast and loose with the word 'complete'?

That's a brutal way to learn about "complete" sets, man. Sellers pulling that junk is the worst.

Saw a post last week where a guy bought a "complete" vintage car model kit. The box was sealed but it was missing the entire engine sprue. Makes you check every listing twice now.
