Vent: my local comic shop's new layout buried the indie shelf behind a Funko wall
Went into my local shop here in Sacramento yesterday and they rearranged the whole place since my trip back in March. The indie and small press shelf used to be right by the register, but now there's a floor to ceiling wall of Funko Pops and the indie stuff got shoved to the back corner next to the bathroom. I get that Pops pay the bills, but I stood there for 10 minutes and watched 3 people walk right past the shelf without even noticing it. Any of you seen this happen at your shop, and did talking to the owner actually help or did it just make things weird?
