Had a talk with a client's IT manager that made me reconsider my whole approach
I was out at a small law office in Tacoma last Tuesday fixing a server that kept crashing, and the IT manager there told me he doesn't even bother with antivirus software anymore, just relies on strict user permissions and backups. It hit different because I've been selling antivirus subscriptions for years without really thinking about whether they're worth the money for small shops like that. Has anyone else felt pressured to offer services you're not 100% sure are necessary?
