Frustrated after the flat earth panel at Miller Hall last night

I sat through a two-hour debate at Miller Hall in Portland where the flat earther kept interrupting the moderator and pointing at a blurry photo of a bridge. The whole thing fell apart when the moderator just gave up and walked off stage after 45 minutes. How do you even handle a debate when one side refuses to use basic logic?

...and that's exactly why I don't even bother with debates anymore, honestly. Last year I went to this small meetup downtown where a guy spent twenty minutes trying to prove the moon landing was faked using a video he shot on his phone in his backyard. The whole thing just turned into him yelling while everyone else checked their watches. It's like they're not even listening to what you're saying, they just want to be right on their own terms. Some people treat logic like it's optional, and you can't argue with that.
