Overheard a guy at the diner saying the moon landing was faked because the flag waved

I was eating eggs at Mel's Diner on Tuesday and this older guy two booths over was explaining to his friend why the moon landing was fake. His big proof was the flag waving in the vacuum, which I thought got debunked in the 70s. I wanted to pipe up and mention the horizontal wire in the flag, but I kept my mouth shut. It just made me wonder how many people still buy into stuff that's been explained a hundred times. Have any of you actually run into someone who still believes that flag thing?

Nah, I actually think questioning stuff like that is pretty healthy.

Saw a study once that said questioning authority is linked to higher critical thinking skills.
