The shift in airport security I noticed after 2019

I fly out of Denver International pretty often, and I swear something changed around late 2019. Before that, TSA agents would just wave you through with a quick scan, but now they spend 5 minutes picking apart every bag. I think it's because they got new scanners that show everything in 3D, so they see more stuff. Has anyone else noticed their local airport getting way slower since then?

Hmm I actually fly out of Denver pretty often too and I think the slowdown started way before 2019... they rolled out those new CT scanners like in 2018 at some airports and the training for them was a mess.

Buddy of mine managed a bag room for a while and he said those things kept throwing false positives every other bag, had to re-scan everything by hand for weeks.
