The time I aired out my conspiracy theory on a city bus and got a standing ovation

I was riding the 46 bus through Portland last Tuesday and got into a debate with this guy about the whole moon landing thing. He was dead serious that the government faked it all, and I just blurted out my theory that it was actually a secret movie shoot by Stanley Kubrick that went too far. The bus driver almost crashed when like 3 people in the back started clapping and agreeing with me. Turns out the trick was just saying it with total confidence like I had proof, even though I was making it up on the spot. I ended up getting a high five from a grocery clerk who got off at my stop. Has anyone else ever accidentally started a crowd reaction with a wild theory like that?
