Dropped $600 on a modular tool wall system that rusted out in 8 months

After 3 tries with contact spray and wire brushes I just threw the whole thing in the dumpster, has anyone else had better luck with the plastic pegboard stuff?

Bet your garage humidity levels were way higher than you thought, that's the real killer nobody checks before mounting metal organizers. Plastic pegboard handles moisture way better but you lose the magnetic storage option for screwdrivers and bits. Pick up a dehumidifier first either way, otherwise even the plastic stuff will get gross with mildew after a while.
