Realized after 8 months that I was billing my hourly rate for on-site estimates
A contractor in Denver asked why I was giving out free 2 hour estimates for every lead when I could be charging $75 for the visit, and it hit me that I had basically been running a free consulting service for every tire kicker in three counties.
