Small win: my contract closeout time went from 11 days to 3 in about 6 weeks
Six weeks ago every job closeout was taking me 11 days on average and I was losing bids because of it. I started keeping a simple checklist in a shared folder for each job (lien waivers, final invoice, punch list sign off) and made my two guys snap a photo of each item as it got done in the field. Last week I closed out a $14,200 kitchen remodel in Albuquerque in 3 days flat. Any of you got a system for keeping subs and clients on the same page at the very end? That last 5 percent is always where things stall for me.
