Unpopular opinion: a tile guy in Bakersfield told me to stop eyeballing thin-set and start using a bathroom scale
We were on a 400 sq ft job off Rosedale and he weighed out 50 lb bags against water at a 1:1 ratio instead of judging by feel, which fixed my sagging tiles on the wall. Anyone else weigh their mix, or is that just a California thing?
