Update: found out my old shop's insurance jumped $9k after a guy in Tulsa slipped on a wet floor
My old boss told me he found this out when we were grabbing lunch a few weeks ago, and now I'm second guessing every wet floor sign I put out; how do you all handle slip claims when the customer's floor was already slick before you got there?
Documented the floor's pre-existing condition with photos and a signed note from their manager before starting, and that saved me $4k on a claim in Cleveland.
