A client at my salon in Tulsa told me her last stylist used box dye on her roots and charged her $180
Last Tuesday a new client sat in my chair and before I even touched her hair she said, "Please don't be mad, but I have box dye in my roots." She had gone to a stylist in Tulsa three weeks before who charged her $180 for what was supposed to be a full color service. The color was patchy at the crown and the ends were three shades lighter than the roots, and she said the stylist told her it was "just the lighting." I spent two hours fixing it with a color remover and a toner, and she almost cried when I showed her the mirror. I get that money is tight and people want to save where they can, but charging full price for sloppy work and lying about it is a whole other thing. Has anyone else had a client come in with damage from another pro that just made you want to call that stylist yourself?
