Spilled color on a bride's dress 10 minutes before the wedding

I was doing a wedding party at a venue in Oak Park last Saturday and knocked a whole bowl of copper hair dye onto the mother of the bride's white dress. Grabbed a box of baking soda from the kitchen and dabbed it dry, then hit it with a little dish soap and cold water. Got it out completely with 2 minutes to spare. Has anyone else had a close call like that with a client's outfit?

Is it really that big of a deal though? A little stain on a dress 10 minutes before the wedding isn't the end of the world. People act like a piece of clothing is the same as a car crash. Worst case scenario she stands in the back for the photos and nobody even notices. Seems like a lot of stress over something that doesn't really matter in the long run.

Nah man, a stained dress on your wedding day is honestly a PRETTY big deal for most people.
