Sugar crashes during highlights showed me why diet matters in the salon
I kept snacking on sweets to get through back to back appointments, but my hands would get all shaky. That wobble meant my foils were uneven and color lines got blurry. Now I pack protein bars and drink way more water, and my precision is back. It sounds small, but steady energy keeps your work clean and clients happy. Skipping the junk food might feel tough at first, but your cuts and color will thank you. Honestly, if you want to avoid sloppy mistakes, look at what you're eating. It made a bigger difference for me than any new tool lol.

Totally get this, I used to crash hard after lunch at my desk job and my brain would just fog up. Making dumb mistakes on simple tasks felt awful, like I couldn't trust my own focus. Swapping candy for nuts or some cheese made a night and day difference for my concentration, not just my hands. It's crazy how much what you eat controls your whole output, even if you're not holding foils lol.

Not sure if it's always that dramatic, lol. @nelson.holly, you seen this kind of change in others too? I've had days where I eat junk and still focus fine, so maybe it's more about individual body stuff. Like, sometimes I'm just tired regardless of what I ate, you know? Just seems like a stretch to blame every brain fog on snacks.
