Choosing a manual chart over the new tablet load planner
Everyone on my site in Phoenix switched to the digital system, but I stuck with my paper charts and a pencil. After a tricky lift with shifting wind last week, my old method let me adjust faster than the guys waiting for their screens to refresh. Anyone else feel the new tech sometimes just gets in the way?

Watching a screen buffer while the wind changes" is the perfect summary. It's like they want us to wait for permission from a tablet before we can think. My old chart just needs a quick eraser, not a software update and a prayer.

Watching a screen buffer while the wind changes" yep that's basically the new planning experience. Ngl they probably think adding a loading spinner makes us faster somehow.

Totally get that. Sometimes the old way just works better, especially when you need to think on your feet. Watching a screen buffer while the wind changes sounds like a nightmare. They push all this new stuff but never ask if it actually helps us do the job.
