Spent $80 on a writing desk lamp and my typing doubled

Bought one of those daylight adjustable lamps off Amazon. My eyes stopped straining after 9pm and suddenly I'm cranking out 2k words instead of staring at a blank screen. Anyone else have a cheap tool that fixed your writing flow?

Find yourself actually writing more in the mornings after using that lamp, or is it mostly a night shift thing for you? I'm curious if the light quality carries over into the next day, like resetting your eyes or something.

The morning thing is totally real for me. I've been using mine before bed for about three months now and I swear my writing has shifted to earlier in the day. Last week I woke up at 5am and cranked out three pages before my coffee was even ready, which never happened before. It's like my eyes don't feel that heavy groggy film in the mornings anymore. My night writing has actually dropped off because I'm so wired from getting stuff done earlier.
