inA friend said my bullet journal looked like a 'to-do list graveyard' last year
Adding a "good things" box is a solid move. I had the same problem and started putting a tiny doodle in the corner of each day, even if it's just a bad smiley face. It forces you to use the page for something that isn't a task.

inHad a client yesterday who had a full face reaction to a new serum she bought online
Lol tell that to my skin, which breaks out if I even look at a product wrong. I once got a rash from a moisturizer labeled "for sensitive skin," so 500 reviews would have saved me a lot of trouble.

inChoosing between a wired and wireless retrofit on a 1920s house in Portland

inHad a client's color processing way too fast in a humid salon last summer, turned it around with a cold water rinse.
Wait, cold water really fixes that? I always thought heat was the main problem with color running in humidity. That's a solid tip. Makes sense it would close the cuticle down fast. I'm filing that away for next time it gets muggy in here.

inMy kid asked if AI could ever be a good friend
Watched my niece talk to a voice assistant for an hour about her stuffed animals. It gave perfect replies, but that's the problem. It's just echoing data, not sharing a real laugh or remembering your birthday without being told. How can something that never had a bad day or a scraped knee ever really get you?
