My aunt in Mexico told me to stop calling death 'passing away', she was right
She said treating it like a secret makes it heavier, and after 3 funerals where nobody spoke the actual word I finally tried saying 'he died' out loud at a wake last month, the relief in the room was instant, has anyone else found that dodging the word makes grief worse?
