Just hit 50 custom home projects in my career, and it feels bigger than I thought

Honestly, I was just updating my portfolio last night and did the count. Tbh, I never really kept track of the total number before. It's not all huge mansions either, a lot of them are smaller, thoughtful homes for families in the suburbs around here. The one that got me to 50 was a 2,200 square foot place we finished in Oak Park last month. Ngl, seeing that number made me stop and think about all the different floor plans, site challenges, and client dreams I've worked on. It's a quiet win, but it matters because it shows I've stuck with this through the good years and the tough ones. Has anyone else hit a project count that made you reflect on how far you've come?

You mentioned "thoughtful homes for families" but honestly, I've never found project counts to mean much. I've seen people with half that number who have done more interesting work. The real measure is if those fifty houses actually solved problems for the people living in them.

Actually solved problems, @campbell.evan. That was the whole point.
