That contractor thinking it was a heist is great. My buddy had a similar thing when he built a secret wine cellar. The workers were convinced he was hiding bodies until they saw the racks going in.

Oh man, that reminds me of my friend who had a safe room put in her basement. The crew pouring all that concrete and putting in the steel door got really quiet. She finally asked what was wrong, and the foreman admitted they thought she was running some kind of illegal bunker business. The look on their faces when she explained it was just for tornado season was priceless.
