Spent $12k on a pre-drywall walkthrough mistake with my framer in Austin

I thought I could skip the walkthrough before drywall went up on my custom build. My framer even said "you really should check the window headers now" but I was busy and trusted the prints. Two months later we found the master bedroom window was framed 4 inches too low, right where the tub would hit it. Cost me $12k to rip out the tub area, redo the header, and reorder the custom window. Has anyone else had a framing screwup that only showed up after drywall? How did you catch it before it got worse?
