Hit 1,000 password manager entries today, not sure if I should be proud or terrified
I was trying to clear out old logins from my password manager (you know, spring cleaning but digital) and glanced at the counter. 1,047 entries. I genuinely didn't think I had that many accounts. Some of them are from forums I posted on once in 2016 and never visited again. Some are for random wifi routers at old jobs. The scary part is maybe 200 of them are duplicates or old work stuff, but even after I purge those, that's still a lot of passwords floating around. My question is, how do you all handle the cleanup? Do you actually go through every single one or just let it ride? Also, is there a magic number where you go 'okay, time to consolidate accounts' or am I just overthinking this?

1,047 passwords is insane, my brain would just shut down looking at that counter. I barely trust myself to remember my email login, let alone a thousand of them. Maybe just archive everything older than five years and call it a day, that's what I'd do.
