I thought using a password manager was just extra hassle until my email got hit

About three months ago, my main email account got a login attempt from a city I've never been to. I used to just have a few simple passwords I'd change a little for each site. After that scare, I tried Bitwarden for a month. It felt slow at first, but then I saw it caught a password I'd reused on a small forum that had a data leak. Has anyone else had a close call that made them switch to a password manager for good?

Close call" just means your old method almost worked.

That "almost worked" part is the worst. It means you did all the work for nothing and have to start over from scratch. So close but so far.
