PSA: A guy at Micro Center told me to skip password managers and just write passwords in a notebook
Was standing in the checkout line at Micro Center in Chicago last week and a guy next to me saw me buying a YubiKey and went on a 5 minute rant that password managers are a single point of failure and nobody ever hacked his spiral notebook in 20 years. I get the logic about one master password being a target, but a notebook in a desk drawer seems rough if someone actually breaks in or it gets lost in a move. Where do you all land, is a paper backup actually safer than a manager?
