Still mad about that phishing training at my old job in Phoenix
This IT guy literally laughed at me in front of 20 people when I couldn't spot a fake login page during a test last year, said "it's so obvious" like I was stupid. I had been working there 6 months and nobody ever showed us what to look for besides "don't click links." Has anyone else had a security trainer totally humiliate them instead of actually helping?

Wait, is that what happened to you too? I used to think those trainers were just being helpful, but after watching one publicly grill a new hire like that, I realized they're just power tripping instead of actually teaching.

Exactly. Don't let them tear someone down in public. Pull em aside and talk one on one.
