Used to drive 40 min to Westfield Mall for one store, now I just order it online
Back in 2011 I would drive 40 minutes to the Westfield mall in Trumbull just to hit the Sam Goody and the pretzel spot. That whole trip took half a day and I loved it. Now the same mall is basically a ghost town, Sears gone, food court down to two places. Last week I needed a phone case and had it in my hand in about 90 seconds without leaving my couch. I still swing by the old lot sometimes just to see what is left. Does anyone know if that place on the lower level with the fountain is still open? I heard they roped it off a while back.
