Spent 4 hours chasing a ghost air leak on a '19 Pete only to find the intercooler boot had a tiny split on the underside
Was getting surging under load and threw two different boost sensors at it before I finally pressure tested the intake and heard that hiss anyone else ever waste half a day on something that simple?

Look, I'm gonna play devil's advocate here on the "waste half a day" thing... maybe you didn't waste it. If you threw boost sensors at it before checking the boots, that's on you for skipping the basics. Pressure testing is step one, not step four. I've seen guys chase electrical gremlins for two days only to find a loose ground strap, but that's just part of learning the hard way. Sometimes those hours teach you to trust your gut next time instead of swapping parts.
