Warning: My uncle's diesel truck emergencies are wrecking my weekends
Dude calls me at 8 PM on a Friday because his injectors are clogged again. I've told him a hundred times to use good fuel additive, but he ignores it. My wife's mad I keep missing dinner for his crap. Seriously, teach your relatives basic diesel care or lose your sanity. Ugh.

Remember that glow plug thing. My neighbor's kid kept burning his out because he'd crank it for like 30 seconds straight in the cold. Turns out he was skipping the wait time on the light. Had to show him the manual, like a full tutorial in his driveway. It's always some simple step they ignore that causes the whole meltdown.

That sounds like a special kind of weekend torture. My brother-in-law has a similar habit with his truck's glow plugs. It just becomes part of life with family mechanics.
