Spent 4 hours trying to fix a color shift issue in Procreate, turned out to be a simple display profile

Honestly, I was going crazy trying to match my digital painting colors between my iPad and desktop monitor. Ngl, I spent a good 4 hours messing with brush settings and layer modes thinking I broke something. Turns out my iPad was set to a different color profile than my monitor the whole time. Changed the display profile on the iPad to sRGB and it fixed everything in like 30 seconds. Has anyone else dealt with color matching issues between devices for their art showcases?

Oh man, does this hit close to home? I literally had a mini panic attack last month thinking my iPad screen was dying cause the colors looked totally different from my laptop. Turned out my iPad was stuck in some weird P3 wide gamut mode and my monitor was sRGB. Felt like such a goof when I finally figured it out after way too many hours. Now I keep a little color profile checklist taped to my desk so I don't forget again. Your mileage may vary but honestly I think most of us learn this the hard way at least once.

Oh yeah, I wasted two days once before realizing my blue light filter was on.
