I finally dug through my old forum threads on sleep aids.
Used to be you could swap tips on melatonin or white noise machines without a second thought. Now half those discussions get flagged or wiped for 'unverified health claims'. When did sharing a bad night's sleep become a platform risk?

Been there, trying to talk about a rough night and getting hit with a warning. The trick is to talk about your own story, not give direct advice. Say "I felt awful after a bad sleep, so I tried a white noise app and it worked for me" instead of "you should use white noise." Platforms have bots that scan for key words telling people what to do. Frame it as your personal experience and those filters usually leave it alone. It's a dumb workaround but it keeps the conversation going.

Have you thought about why sites do this? It's a pain, but they're likely stopping bad advice. Sometimes rules help more than they hurt.

Facebook's content filters block a lot of harmless posts. How can they improve without letting bad advice spread?
