Overheard a neighbor talking about my Nextdoor post being deleted

I was at the hardware store on Tuesday buying brackets when I heard a guy behind me mention my username. He told his buddy how my post about a stray cat problem got pulled from Nextdoor in 3 hours. I had no idea it was gone until he said something. Has anyone else had their local posts disappear without a notification?

3 posts in my building's complex got taken down last month, and I only knew because a friend texted me asking where the thread went. Nextdoor sent me a vague "community guidelines" message later that day, but no specifics. I actually think the moderation is helpful sometimes - we had someone posting fake lost dog alerts that were just phishing links, and those got pulled fast. But the lack of a clear notification is frustrating, especially when it's something like a stray cat issue where people actually need the info. They should at least tell you exactly which guideline was broken, you know? That way you can fix it and repost instead of guessing.
