PSA: I spent 4 months on blog posts vs one video and I still can't tell which one earned more
Back in March I split my budget, $600 on a writer for 8 blog posts and $600 on a guy in Tucson to film one short video for my roofing company. The blog stuff ranks slow and barely moves, but the video got 4,000 views in a week and almost no calls. Half the marketing folks I ask say written content builds trust over time, the other half say video wins because nobody reads anymore. Which one actually brings you customers, and how long did it take before you knew?
