A client told me my coworking space choice made me look unprofessional
Last month a guy I freelance for said my setup at a hostel cafe in Lisbon screamed amateur hour, so I switched to a proper coworking spot with a dedicated desk. Has anyone else gotten blunt feedback that actually improved your work life?

OH man, sometimes clients give the best accidental advice even when it stings.

What was the specific thing your client said that actually made you stop and rethink your whole approach? Some of the best hard truths come from people who aren't trying to be wise (they just say what's on their mind). Always interesting when a client's offhand comment ends up being more useful than their actual feedback.
