Got ghosted by a client while I was in a coffee shop in Chiang Mai

I was sitting at a place near the Nimman area last Tuesday, waiting on a Zoom call with a guy who needed some website updates. He just never showed up, no message, nothing. I wasted 2 hours of my afternoon sipping overpriced iced lattes and reworking my schedule for nothing. Has anyone else had clients just disappear like that?

Oh man, that sucks so much. Had almost the same thing happen to me in Bali last month - booked a whole afternoon for a freelance gig and the person just went silent after we confirmed. I was sitting at this little cafe near Canggu watching my battery die while refreshing my email like an idiot. It's wild how some people treat other people's time like it's nothing, especially when you're traveling and trying to make things work.

Man, that's rough. I feel for you. Sitting there watching your battery die while waiting for a reply is the worst feeling. Some people just have no respect for someone else's time.
