Wait, is that really true though? Honestly I used to think $5k MRR sounded like a solid milestone until I actually sat down and did the math on my own expenses. After seeing all the hidden costs like software subscriptions, taxes, and healthcare, I realized even $5k a month can leave you feeling tight in a city with average rent. It totally changed how I look at "good" revenue numbers.
