I finally bought a proper travel router after my last Airbnb had terrible wifi
It was about $80 and I almost didn't get it, but it saved my work week in Medellin. The place I rented looked great but the signal barely reached the bedroom. I plugged this little thing in by the modem and it created a strong network just for my devices. Anyone have a favorite travel gadget that saved you from a bad internet situation?

$80 for a router? That's wild, I would've just used my phone hotspot.

Seriously? Your phone hotspot is a joke for real work.

Yeah but like Rodriguez said, hotspots suck for actual work. My video calls kept dropping until I got a real router. That $80 one handles multiple devices way better and doesn't kill my phone battery.
