Took me 6 months to realize my coworking membership was a bad deal

I signed up for a fancy coworking spot in Lisbon for $200 a month. Worked there every day for half a year thinking the price was normal. One day I asked a guy from the UK what he paid, and he said $80 for the same space and wifi. Turns out they had a locals rate and a tourist rate, and I was paying the tourist price the whole time. I switched to a smaller place near Alfama for $90 a month and it's just as good. Has anyone else found hidden pricing tricks like this in other nomad hotspots?

Lisbon still has plenty under $100 if you look near Bairro Alto.
