Threw $120 at a sample pack that was just loops I already had

Bought this 'exclusive' drum kit from some producer in San Salvador last month. Figured it'd have fresh sounds for my D11-04 style tracks. Opened the folder and it was literally repackaged stock packs from 2018. Contacted the seller and he just ghosted me. Has anyone else fallen for these fake 'premium' sample packs?

Did you check if the sounds were royalty free or anything? I mean, that's rough though, $120 for stuff that was basically free online. I've been burned a few times on smaller packs where the 'original' sounds were just chopped up versions of stuff I already had in my library. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like if a seller is from outside the US and the price is way too low for what they're promising, it's usually a scam.

Look for refund policies next time and always search samples on YouTube first to avoid getting scammed.
