Hit 500 square feet of tile in one weekend and my knees still hurt
I've been doing small bathroom tile jobs for years but last weekend I finally took on my whole kitchen floor. Laid 500 square feet of ceramic tile from Saturday morning to Sunday night. Didn't realize how much grout I'd need either, ended up mixing 3 batches instead of my usual 1. Has anyone else tackled a way bigger project than they planned and just powered through?

That whole 'one more row' mentality gets me every time too, like I always underestimate how much the last quarter of the job stretches out lol. It's funny how a simple home project can turn into a real test of stubbornness versus common sense. Honestly, the sore knees are just your body's way of telling you that you cared enough to finish what you started.
