My bathroom tile job in the old Denver house went south when the wet saw blade broke

I was cutting subway tile for the shower wall and the 7-inch diamond blade on my Rigid saw just snapped, sending a piece into the drywall. I had to drive to the hardware store on Broadway, buy a new blade, and redo three messed up cuts. Has anyone else had a blade fail that fast on a basic porcelain job?
