Picked up a tip from an old hand at the shop about paper space scaling
He said to always set your viewport scale before you start drawing, not after, and it saved me 20 minutes of rework on a floor plan last Tuesday. Has anyone else found a workflow change that just clicked after someone pointed it out?

Measuring twice before you cut anything" is the exact kind of advice that sounds obvious but nobody follows. I started doing that with material takeoffs and stopped wasting stock. Prep work is boring but it pays off every single time.

Setting things up early before you start, whether it's software or packing for a trip, just makes everything go smoother. It's funny how that little bit of prep work saves way more time than you'd think, like measuring twice before you cut anything. Probably applies to half the stuff we rush into without thinking.
