I just saw a guy in Phoenix use a regular screwdriver on a live panel

He was trying to tighten a lug on a 200 amp main breaker with the power still on. I yelled at him to stop and he looked at me like I was crazy. The screwdriver slipped and sparked against the bus bar, could have been real bad. How do people still not know to kill the main first? What's the dumbest live work you've seen someone try?

Just saw a video where Tuffy Stone explained his brisket trimming philosophy

He said he aims to remove about 25% of the raw weight before it even hits the smoker. Found that on a YouTube channel called 'BBQ with Franklin' from a few years back. How much do you guys usually trim off?

Switched from cheap polyester lining to Bemberg cupro for a jacket and the difference in breathability and drape is INSANE.

My old raincoat had that cheap plastic lining and I'd get clammy just walking to the bus. Upgraded to a thrifted Barbour with a proper lining and it was a total game changer.

Honestly, I just realized I've been overpacking for every single 3-day trip for like a decade. A ranger in Yosemite saw my 50-pound pack and asked if I was moving in. What's your take: is a lighter pack always better, or is there a case for carrying the comfort items?

Totally agree, it's like a mental health tax on your pack weight lol. I've carried a full size pillow on trips before and got roasted for it, but man, sleeping right changes everything. That little bit of extra comfort turns a survival trip into a trip you actually enjoy. My back might hate me, but my brain is way happier out there.
