My uncle told me to always wet sand the final coat, even on a small patch
He said it would blend way better than dry sanding, so I tried it on a repair in a Denver condo last month. I used a damp sponge and a 220 grit screen, working in small circles. The patch disappeared completely, with no dust cloud to clean up after. Anyone have a different method for feathering edges on a touch up?

That wet sand trick is a game changer for sure. My old boss used to swear by a spray bottle with a tiny bit of dish soap in the water. He said it helped the paper glide and kept it from loading up as fast. Always made a bit of a slippery mess, but the finish was crazy smooth. Kind of miss those weird little tricks from the guys who have been doing it forever.
