A guy at the resettlement office told me I was filling out forms wrong for 6 months.
He said I was putting my previous address in the wrong box and now my case finally moved forward but I'm still waiting on that work permit since February.

Honestly, that's brutal. Six months of wrong forms is a huge waste of time.

Six months of wrong forms" is exactly what happened to me once with a tax thing. I kept getting rejection letters and had no clue why. Turns out I was checking the wrong box the whole time, nobody told me until I finally called. It's wild how they just let you fail over and over instead of giving you a heads up. You'd think someone would notice the pattern and stop you sooner. That time is just gone forever and you can't get it back.
