Just read that 1 in 3 refugees never gets a stable job, that hit me hard
Was reading a UNHCR report last night while waiting for my shift at the warehouse in Detroit. It said only 32% of displaced people find work that lasts more than a year after resettlement. I've been here 2 years and I'm still doing temp gigs, so I guess I'm in that 68%. How do you all handle the job hunt without losing your mind?

My cousin was a refugee from Syria and the only job he could get was cleaning fish at a market, so he started a YouTube channel about it and now he’s got like 40k subs and works for himself. Shit’s wild how random it all is.
